I'm trying to get my definitions straight, please correct me if I'm wrong or missing something, or if there's any other helpful definitions/information I forgot: vectorspace= closed under addition and scalar multiplication, follows 8 axioms (which we don't have to memorize) vector subspace= closed under addition & scalar multiplication, contains zero vector basis= linearly independent, spans vector space linear transformation= can be represented by a matrix, closed under addition and scalar multiplication, what else??? invertible transformation= must be square, 1 to 1 and onto

Remember basis, image, and kernel, and how they are related. Know how to determine kernel by row reduction and how to deduce image from leading ones.
